The Fonthill Lions invite you to come play in the park at SLIDERFEST. Miss Jenny of Cabar-eh Youth Theatre and her troop of merrymakers will be hosting a PLAY ZONE encouraging all kids (and kids at heart) to join in games, activities and silliness for the entire family.
Be a part of the action during Cabar-EH’s Creative Theatre Lab and help as they as they interactively create and perform a FUNKY FAIRYTALE.
Remember the days when Summer picnic parties were a time for all ages to enjoy lawn games like Potato Sack Races, Beanbag Toss, Frisbee and Hoola-hoops? SLIDERFEST 2018 will be sure to bring back lots of memories as we enjoy a day of awesome retro fun and try some new games too.

Children under 12 don’t need a ticket to be served french fries and corn – we will also have Big Red’s hot dogs available for $2 each.
There will be a schedule of children’s group activities happening every half hour plus lots of individual games to play a your leisure.
Come enjoy a day of family fun, savour the tastes created by our featured Chefs while you relax to the soulful sounds of LIVE Blues in the park featuring The Rhythm Hounds.
Five local restaurant Chefs from Churchhill Natural Meats, Iggy’s Pub & Grub, FORE Restaurant at Peninsula Lakes Golf Club, The Righteous Monger, Root & Bone (new restauranteur opening soon in former location of Zest Kitchen) will be showcased as they compete for your vote to win the title of TOP SLIDER Chef.

Only 500 Tickets available and it is expected that they will all be sold BEFORE the event. Do not wait to try and buy tickets at the door. Limited picnic table seating will be available. It is recommended that you bring your own blankets and lawn chairs.
SLIDER CONTEST
Sliders will be served from 5pm-8pm. All Guests are invited to vote for their favourite. Winner will be announced at 8:30PM
