Five awesome local chefs are going head to head and bun to bun in an epic SLIDER BATTLE!

Come be the judge as the Fonthill Lions host SLIDERFEST presented by Dun For You Contracting – an outdoor fundraising party at our 7.5 acre G. L. Klager Park located right in the heart of Fonthill.

Savour the tastes created by our featured chefs while you relax to the soulful sounds of LIVE Blues in the park featuring The Rhythm Hounds.

BRING YOUR KIDS!
Entry for children under 12 is free, with online registration and accompanied by a paying adult. Kid’s Menu Items including hot dogs, individual sliders, fries, corn, freezies and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

PRE-SOLD TICKETS ONLY
There are only 500 SLIDERFEST tickets available on a pre-sold basis. Event organizers recommend not to leave it to the last minute because the event does sell out quickly.

SEATING
Limited picnic table seating will be available. It is recommended that you bring your own blankets and lawn chairs.

SLIDER CONTEST
Sliders will be served from 5pm-8pm. All Guests are invited to vote for their favourite. Winner will be announced at 8:30PM

The Rhythm Hounds return to SLIDERFEST 2023 by popular demand! This local group of four exceptional musicians are consummate entertainers.

The Rhythm Hounds provide a unique and distinctive expression of the enduring and timeless blues-flavoured groove.

The Rhythm Hounds represent many years of stylistic development and diverse practical experience. They provide a distinctive, energetic edge to their performances, while maintaining sensitivity toward the character of each venue. Influenced heavily by the approach and philosophy of many jam bands of past decades, The Rhythm Hounds are able to inject something new into each performance.

Over the past two decades, The Rhythm Hounds have enjoyed success at a host of clubs, events and festivals throughout the Niagara Region. Given the resurgence of the blues in the music industry, The Rhythm Hounds’ sound continues to gain popularity with audiences of all ages, successfully crossing over into funk, reggae, jazz and popular music.
