To Rebecca Mazur of Seasons Retirement Communities (Welland) , we cannot thank you enough for your gracious volunteer time and spectacular, welcoming personality that pushed our raffle room success over the top. It was super to have Kame and Kettle Beerworks on site to serve up ice cold Craft Beer brewed right here in Fonthill to add even more LOCAL flavour to our event. About 430 people attended SLIDERFEST 2017 which was originally intended to be a 300 person event. Concept to the actual inaugural event was incredibly accomplished in just over 10 weeks. Our Fonthill Lions Club is a small group of very dedicated members – we could not have mounted this event without the support of our partners in service – the Fonthill Lioness Club. We are both grateful and honoured by your generosity and commitment to Lionism all year round.
